
After four seasons at the club, this Sunday will be Nuno Espirito Santoβs final game in charge of Wolves
Thank you, Nuno. After taking wolves from the championship to English top flight football, Wolves confim on twitter that Manager Espirito Santo’s will leave at the end of this season.
“Sunday will be a very emotional day, but I am so happy that the fans will be back in Molineux and we can share one last special moment together, as one pack.” said Nuno.
Wolves are 12th in the table going into their final game of the season at home to Manchester United on Sunday looking forward to win inorder to give Nuno a better sendoff.
Wolves executive chairman Jeff Shi praised Nuno’s influence at the club and says the return of fans at Molineux on Sunday will provide the manager a fitting farewell as he seeks a new challenge.
Wolves confirmed Nuno’s departure via a club statement on Friday, stating the decision has been taken by “mutual agreement” despite the Portuguese signing a new three-year deal at the club in September 2020.
