Nigeria eye’s a second leg friendly win

Two african footballing Giants

The super Eagles of Nigeria lost their first friendly outing against the indomitable lions of cameroon 1:0 on Friday after a Zambo Anguissa strike decided the game.

The super Eagles had several scoring opportunities unlike their opponents who had just one and ensured the one was used to their good.

Ahead of the second game, Nigerian legend Nwosu, has edged three time african Champions to prove their worth and avoid a second conservative Defeat.

”The first match wasn’t bad at all. They played well but missed several scoring chances which they must work on the second game” Nwosu told Goal. ”They must convert their chances and let the world know Nigeria are not pushover. I believe we will defeat cameroon” Nwosu said.

Nigeria would be coming into the game with an eye to turn the first leg friendly defeat ahead of a clash against Mexico to only play cameroon again on July 4.

All eyes would be on Nigeria as it still has the better players going into the game but cameroon seems to spring up an upset against they neighbors if they can stay solid still fulltime. The game would be played in SC Wiener Neustadt stadium, in Viena, Austria with kickoff at 7:00 pm

Nigeria recently sealed their place in The 2022 African cup of nations after finishing as group L leaders while fellow opponents cameroon has also qualified as well.
