Former AC Milan and Napoli boss Boss,Gennaro Gattuso has officially parted ways with Fiorentina only 22 days after he was appointmented, because of the problems on transfers strategy with Gattuso’s agent Jorge Mendes.

Fiorentina Statement:

“ACF Fiorentina and Mister Rino Gattuso, by mutual agreement, have decided not to follow up on the previous agreements and therefore not to start the next football season together.

“The Company immediately set to work to identify a technical choice that will guide the Viola team towards the results that Fiorentina and the City of Florence deserve.”

According to Skysport, Claudio Ranieri could and Rudi Garcia could be their primary target as Gattuso’s replacement after the Frenchman ended his tenure at Lyon, but contacts with the former Leicester manager and Rudi Garcia have not started yet.
