Christian Eriksen was welcomed back by Inter Milan today, as he made his first training ground visit following his cardiac arrest earlier this summer.

The midfielder had to be resuscitated on the pitch and later has a heart-starting device fitted after collapsing during Denmark’s Euro 2020 opener against Finland.
Inter report he returned to the club in ‘excellent psycho-physical condition’ following a period of extended rest back home since the incident.
It’s still unclear whether Eriksen will be able or allowed to continue his career at Inter, with strict rules over player health in Serie A.
But Inter have revealed Eriksen has returned to the club to begin a ‘recovery program’ that has been devised by doctors in Copenhagen.
“This morning Christian Eriksen went to the Suning Training Center in Appiano Gentile,” read an Inter Milan statement on Wednesday.
“The Danish midfielder, who greeted mChristian Eriksen is back at Inter’s training ground today. “He’s in really good conditions”, official statement says. Fantastic to see Chris like this! ❤️🇩🇰 #Eriksenanagers, coach, teammates and all the staff present, is fine and in excellent psycho-physical condition.
“Eriksen will follow the recovery program proposed by the Danish doctors in Copenhagen, who will coordinate all the clinical follow-up, always keeping the medical staff of FC Internazionale Milano informed.”
