Manchester City’s Lukas Nmecha hit the winner as Germany beat Portugal to win a third European Under-21 Championship.
Germany played against Portugal and won the game by one goal to nothing thanks to a Lukas Nmecha goal.
Ironically, In 2017, Lukas Nmecha scored the match-winning goal for England in the U19 Euros final against Portugal.
In 2021, Lukas Nmecha scored the match-winning goal for Germany in the U21 Euros final against Portugal.

Portugal have now lost all three finals they have appeared in meanwhile Germany added to their previous triumphs in the competition in 2009 and 2017.
Portugal had more of ball possession 55 to Germany’s 45 while Germany had 14 shots to Portugal’s 10. Rui Jorge’s Portugal knocked out defending champions Spain in the semi-finals but they managed just one attempt on target against Germany.

Good work by him. I always admire young players that do great things for club and country. Hopefully he becomes a great player in the future.
