Andre Onana has reportedly been a winter transfer window target for Arsenal, as arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is believed to be interested in a new goalkeeper after Bernd Leno and Runar Runarsson both failed to impress.

However the player’s ban has been reduced by three months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, meaning a new winter transfer could be on the cards.
This ban was due to the fact that the 25-years old Cameroonian and ajax goalkeeper, tested positive for an illicit substance. ONANA claimed that he accidentally took medicine for his wife. This ban was made public by the Court of Arbitration for Sport in February this year.
However, the ban was to run for a year but Following an appeal to CAS, his ban has been shortened to nine months, meaning he can return to competitive football in November.
According to information published by Goal, Arsenal were reported to be interested in the player in January, and they may be back in the winter.
He will be permitted to return to training in September.
One response to “ARSENAL’S TARGET ANDRE ONANA COULD PLAY THIS YEAR”
I was really pleased to hear that his ban had been dropped to 9 months. Will Arsenal buy him? He will be a good buy and will bring some good competition for Leno.
