


Al Ahly ๐ช๐ฌ players had to leave the pitch during warm up for CAF champions league semi-final as they struggled to breathe.
It was due to police firing tear gas to control rioting between some sectors of the Esperance de Tunis fans ๐น๐ณ.(Source: @mimosafawaz)
According to tweets from Al Ahly official Twitter account, players are back to the pitch of Hammadi Agrabi Stadium as the game against Esperance of Tunisia in the first leg of the CAF Champions League is supposed to start after half an hour.
The game is set to start at 7:00 PM (Cairo Time) after the Tunisian Police controlled the riots of Esperance fans in the stands.

Al Ahly also states that, The observer of the game against Esperance in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals received a written and signed pledge from the Tunisian police that they are responsible for the security of Al Ahly team.ย
