The Senegalese international striker (36 years old, with 22 caps) has been a free agent ever since his hasty departure from Lugano, only three meetings after his arrival at the club.

He played in Belgium for (Mouscron), Germany for (Hoffenheim), England (West Ham, Newcastle and Chelsea), Turkey (Besiktas, Göztepe and Basaksehir), China (Shanghai Shenhua) and recently Switzerland (Lugano).

He won the Europa League with the Blues in 2013 as well as the Turkish Championship twice (2017 and 2020), his goal during Chelsea-liverpool premier league game was notably the most iconic goal of his career.
